The world-renowned city of Cancun is well known for its warm weather and the visitor can enjoy it all year around. Not so well known are the wonderful fishing flats north of Cancun. The visiting angler can encounter a wide variety of shallow water and flat species. The fishing area is quite pristine and includes many rarely seen species. Anglers have a very good chance of achieving a Super Grand Slam (Tarpon, Snook, Permit, and Bone fish). In just a few days of fishing, both the fly and conventional angler can learn where any of these fish can be found. It will be an unforgettable adventure.

Isla Blanca

   Fishing Zones

The fishing area is located at Isla Blanca, just a 45-50 minute drive north of Cancun. The tour guide will pick you up and drive you to the fishing grounds. Our guides are the only guides available for flatting tours in the area and the flats are quite diverse. In just a few days of fishing, the anglers will get the experience needed to fish in shallow, sandy flats, lagoons, channels, holes in flats, grassy flats, that can be waded. The bottom is mostly mud and not very well suited to the angler who just intends to walk the flats.

GUIDES: There are only four tour guides that work the area, with the knowledge and experience for this type of recreational activity. Our tour guides work for our headquarters in Cancun. All of them know the area and, because of their experience, can tell you exactly where the schools of fish are running so that you will have a succesfull fishing outing.
