Just 45-50 minutes north of Cancun there is a small wharf at Isla Blanca called "El Robalo" from which you can access the 80-mile expanse of fishing area.

Extensive lows, pretty beaches and paradisiacal islands comprise the fishing area where species such as Palometa, Sabalo, Robalo and Macabi abound.

The area is calm; there is not pressure for fishing and even today it is preserve pure in nature. It is not at all unusual in this great destination for fishermen to score a Super Grand Slam (catch of all four species, Palometa, Sabalo, Robalo and Macabi in just one day of fishing.)

To the south, the fishing zone includes the lows at "Manati Lagoon, Zapatito, Cabo Sucio, Cabo Raton, Boca Nueva, Boca Ramo, Boca Iglesias and Cabo Catoche (Holbox Island). To the east it extends almost to Contoy Island.

Isla Blanca is the perfect destination for those who are here on vacation and wish to escape nearby for a day of fishing; a fishing destination with easy access, great fishing and reasonable rates.

The large number of islands, low, natural tunnels and mangroves channels, provide natural protections for the most desired species of fish that can be found off Isla Blanca all year around.
